The Master of Physical Education and Sports (MPES) programme follows a Choice-Based Credit and Semester System (CBCSS) comprising 84 credits spread over four semesters. The curriculum is designed to provide advanced knowledge in Physical Education and Sports Sciences through a balanced combination of theory courses, practical training, sports specialization, internship, research, and professional preparation.
The programme consists of two parts:
In addition to classroom learning, students undergo practical training in fitness, track and field, match practice, sports specialization, internship, advanced coaching ability, and a research project/dissertation. A compulsory 90-working-day internship and a one-week Leadership Training Camp form integral components of the programme.
